Kucinich impeachment measure gets fourth cosponsor
Dennis Kucinich's bid to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney gained a fourth consponsor on Thursday: Rep. Albert R. Wynn, who represents some of Washington, D.C.'s most Democratic suburbs. Wynn has been taking flak in his district for voting to give President Bush authority to launch the Iraq war.

In a statement released by his office, Wynn called Cheney "the architect of the Administration's deception about the war," and said he "persistently and deliberately deceived Congress and the American people about the existence of Weapons of Mass Destruction and the alleged link between Saddam Hussein and the attack on September 11th."

"There should be a serious dialogue about the conduct of this Administration," Wynn continued. "Cheney should be held accountable for purposely misleading the American people. Despite the obvious lack of success on the ground, Vice President Cheney continued a barrage of propaganda claiming that we were winning the war and successfully rebuilding Iraq which is patently false. His statements and representations about the situation in Iraq amount to malfeasance for which he should be taken to task."

1. It's good to hear there's progress.
There should be at least 100 cosponsors. It's way past time for impeachment of these goons to begin.

2. Anyone who voted for the IWR should co-sponsor this
If they have any conscience at all, that is.

4. Kucinich deserves everyone's support. Keep 'em comin'!!!
I'm with him. I gave the Dems a window of time, in my mind, to see what they can do -find their feet.

But unless waiting until BushCo is out of office and can't pardon Cheney, Rove, etc
I'm supporting impeachment now.

5. Well it's an uphill battle to be sure,
but as far as I'm concerned we have nothing to lose. We already have a fascist government and a complicit Congress. I really think impeachment can only take us upward out of this ocean of shit we've been calling a democratic government. There's only Kucinich and a handful of folks willing to take a stand, but what the fuck?! They can kill us, but they can't eat us. It's against the Geneva Conventions. Oh wait ... ! Well, never mind. Impeach the Assholes, Anyway!

7. Wow,it's steamrolling right along, isn't it?
Regardless, I commend Kucinich for doing what he thinks is right. Going after Cheney first makes the most sense, so you would think it would gain more momentum than it has.
