Ku Klux Klan Founded In Pulaski, Says Organization's Director

PULASKI, Tenn. -- White supremacists plan to rally this weekend in Pulaski, and it's all perfectly legal.

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a paradepermit for an organization called the Aryan Nations. It intends to gather just after noon Sunday at Pulaski's town square.

The city administrator told Channel 4's news partners at the Columbia Daily Herald that federal laws prevent the city from denying a permit based on a group's political views.

According to the national director of the Aryan Nations, the organization is going to celebrate "White Unity Day," and it chose Pulaski because that's where the Ku Klux Klan was founded.

When the KKK came here, the locals held a community picnic to show unity against the Klan. The Klan never came back here.

Aryan nations scum had a rally and much larger group held a parade in opposition.

The scum oozed elsewhere and hopefully died off.

The less attention they receive, the better.

But the Klan insists on coming there, though unwelcome.
