Has Obama denounced the DADT survey yet? Is it time for me to eat crow?

Or should I wait 2 weeks longer than I said I would? I already waited a week.

Benefit of the doubt. I may have missed a statement from him in the past week, as I was busy and not entirely with it on the news, so if he has please post it.

BTW: I didn't think this was obvious enough to not be worth following up on, but a couple of PMers convinced me to do it anyway.

1. No reporter has even asked about it
I've checked daily pressers and it hasn't even come up. So there's been nothing from Gibbs, that I've seen. No statements that I've seen either. It just doesn't look to even be on the White House radar, or press corps radar, or anywhere else since last week-end. I haven't even seen any comments coming from the military this week.

4. I amnot sure he will, its a product of his administration run my his appointees
That survey had to have been reviewed and vetted before it went out.

I could see and hope for a revised one, but there will not be a mea culpa forthcoming

13. Actually we don't know that
I expect some in the administration has taken notice of the furor. While I believe it is too much expect an apology or admission of error, it would not surprise me to see a "follow up" survey with a markedly different approach.

14. And isn't that the point?
If we don't know they have a problem with it, it's the same to us as silence.

Too much to expect an admission of error? The Pentagon equated us with sexual predators and rapists who cannot control our own libidos in the shower! For straight boys who have their heads screwed on right, this may not seem like any big deal, but it is a pure slap in the face of gay people! The Obama Admin is not so naive to think that something this egregious would not be insulting.

Obama commissioned this survey. The ones who wrote it work at his pleasure. He owns this. If he hasn't denounced it, he either agrees with it wholeheartedly, or he thinks that ignoring it would give him some teflon in the fallout. He hasn't even fired the piece of shit Pentagon Spokesman who told us we're full of shit, delusional and "playing politics" for being insulted by this survey straight out of the early 60s.

15. To admit error inside the beltway is made ineffective
Which is why I hope for a 2nd survey as "further clarification"

16. And yet the President did admit error when he apologized for saying the police acted stupidly.
... when they arrested Prof. Gates in his own house. He's suffered very little political fallout for it. As a matter of fact, CNN & Fox thought his choice of beers were more important than the issue of the "summit".
