Post/AFL-CIO campaign for posters. Coussoule has a small chance of unseating Boehner.
Boehner has offended some of his voters with some of his embarrassing behavior at fundraisers among other things.
If we ever had a chance to beat Boehner or at least build some momentum against him in his district, this is it.
http://www.coussouleforcongress.com/Justin Coussoule would be be a great improvement in Ohio's 8th District. That district includes at least some of Dayton, so there might be a chance. It's really worth the try.Seemingly oblivious to the economic pain of his constituents resulting from the reckless and fraudulent practices of his Wall Street campaign benefactors, Congressman Boehner has again ignored the will of the overwhelming majority (65% according to ABC News) of the American people and defended his big banker friends against honest oversight and accountability.
His current Democratic opponent in the Ohio 8th Congressional race, Justin Coussoule, (pronounced kuh-SOO-lee) has called on Boehner to “halt his defense of the indefensible” and to stop his “arrogant obstruction of essential financial reforms designed to safeguard the interests of Ohio’s families.”
Coussoule recommended that Boehner “cease channeling the ghosts of Herbert Hoover” and contended that Boehner’s adamant refusal to tighten the regulations of reckless practices that led directly to the debacle of the great recession of 2008. He added that “in raw political terms it is sadly understandable since he is the favorite recipient of campaign cash from those Wall Street bankers now fighting the reforms”.
