NYC EMT who refused to help pregnant woman 09 shot and killed

An FDNY emergency medical technician accused of ignoring a dying pregnant woman while on a break last year was shot and killed outside a Manhattan nightclub early Sunday, police and FDNY officials said.

Jason Green, 32 - who was suspended by the FDNY for 30 days for abandoning Au Bon Pain worker Eutisha Rennix in December - was shot in the face outside of Greenhouse club in Soho about 5 a.m., police said. He was off duty at the time.

Green, who joined the FDNY in November of 2003, had been refused entry into the popular nightspot, which is on Varick St. in the West Village, police said.

The gunman who killed Green fired from inside a car near the intersection of Vandam St. and Hudson St., about a block from the club, police said.

That's a shame.

because it was their break. It was big story at the time.

That's why my sense of grief is best summed up as, "Huh."

My sympathy to his loved ones.

I am guessing that he probably got much better treatment from the emt's than he and his partner gave that pregnant woman.

Kinda hard for me to summon up a lot of tears over the violent demise of Mr Green.
