POS Bush's cronies from Enron & other energy outfits get special dispensation to take a ride on a nuclear sub and are EVEN ALLOWED AT THE CONTROLS, when said sub surfaces, crashing into a boat full of Japanese high school kids on a school trip, KILLING NINE PEOPLE.

1. All sorts of people get to ride subs. NOT unusual. I nominate the Clinton WH "vandalism" lie.

My dad was a submarine captain. They take politicians, biz people out for rides a lot.

3. They sure do. In fact, guess who ran that program among others a while back?

None other than Linda Tripp...well, she didn't do the actual WORK, but when she was over at the Pentagon that fell under her purview.

DV embarks were also very useful tools in developing pro-Navy sentiment amongst the business community; helpful in the days when recruiting was challenging, too. Nowadays, Navy and Air Force aren't struggling--they can be picky; it's Army and Marines that have a tough time.

They're not letting the guests con the boat anymore after that incident, IIRC.
