May not be the best, most perfect solution. But I like it. It's workable....

In particular, I like that stories with a high number of rec/unrec votes total, gets seen. One of the reasons I've seen for unrec.ing a story was that they weren't "worthy" of being promoted to the greatest page. Look over that list and tell me if those stories are so vapid that they don't deserve wider discussion.....

Are you sure you're not talking about the Top Tens page? The New and Hot list shows the top threads by adding up replies, recs & unrecs, but that's been the same for a long time, too, and only shows threads from the past 4 hours.

I still like it. And I'm glad I found it for all the reasons listed above.
