Not everyone has cable news on all day, and my original criticism of your thread still stands.

Note that I have never disagreed with you about Brietbart being a racist pig, I happen to agree with you on that.

When I see a thread for which the context is not immediately clear, I will wait until the context becomes apparent and if I feel like commenting I will do so at that point. What I don't do is complain about there being no context as I know that I'm not the only one for which a post is either composed or posted.

I'm already seeing stuff online about how this poor woman's firing is Obama's fault. While I certainly am not happy with how the administration handled it, this whole thing wouldn't have happened without Breitbart's tape in the first place.

Breitbart et al will say "I don't think African Americans should be discriminated against in jobs or housing or commercial/public services" (which is true, they don't think that) and conclude "so I'm not racist".

We mean something different by "racist" than they do. And arguing about it won't bring them over to our definition. They mean a prejudicial personal attitude about people based on skin color. We mean benefiting from and maintaining a system that is disproportionately easy on rich white men.

So, yes, he is, but making that the rallying cry just turns off the people we need to engage to change things.
