Rs and Right wing media always play offense and Dems are always on defense
Edited on Wed Jul-21-10 07:01 AM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
Always. Being exposed as liars and con artists never phase them (R's), they will just move on to the next fake "scandal". Like making it appear that a recess appointment has never been deployed by a R. Like putting turbans on Kagan. Like claiming Obama is socialist and the greatest threat to the nation since Aaron Burr. This little blip on the right wing smear machine will roll off their backs like it always does.

On the other hand, Dems have proven that they are simply incapable of mounting an offense even when things like the Constitution or the Rule of Law or plain old simple humanity like being against torture and punishing torturers demands it. They fold in all battles great and small. Rarely do they disappoint in their disappointing.

The irony about Sherrod is now they are on the defensive about being on the defensive. Defensiveness squared. Who even knew that was possible?

3. Spot on. Like the Washington Generals vs. the Harlem Globetrotters.
Whatever the reason behind it, it is no coincidence that the modern Democratic "Leadership" behaves almost exactly as the Watergate Conspirators envisioned almost 40 years ago.

Speculating about why makes one look crazy, but the result seems crystal clear.

A Democratic "Leadership" that plays into the hands of the Republics time and time and time again.

By the way, irony is dead, long surpassed by the lunacy that passes for reality and the infantilized labber that passes for our Corporate M$M/RW Lie Machine mediated "National Dialogue".

4. BULLSHIT!!!! The Dems do not even play defense. They panic and retreat in order to
cover the point spread (keep most of their jobs).

Actually winning - not in the play book.
