4/14 2010 Broad Superintendents are high-level military. Why R they being recruited to run schools?
You may speculate.

Broad is a leading funder of school deform, charter schools, vouchers, etc. His Broad Academy recruits & trains superintendants & fellows, who are then placed, mole-like, into school districts across the country, to gather information & turn policy & practices in the directions favored by the deformers.

Not a new phenomenon, either. Every class of Broad Superintendants has had its contingent of high-level military.

Maybe for those KIPP-style reform schools, destined to be recruiting grounds for the military?
