Senator Debbie Stabenow goes on record for support of a job creation bill, for 99ers

Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), who lead the fight on passing H.R. 4213 within the Congress, has now gone on the record to cite her support for the 99ers. In a Op-Ed piece in the American Chronicle on July 24, titled "U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow: Time to Bring Back the American Dream", she talked about the longest-term unemployed job seekers,

"I wish that the bill we passed helped those who have been looking for work the longest – the so-called "99ers." I'm working on a bill to help them because, when there are five people out of work for every one job opening, it's the right thing to do."

When appearing on WXYZ-Channel 7 of Detroit July 20; Senator Stabenow responded to a question by anchor Carolyn Clifford regarding the 99ers. It would appear that the legislation she is working on, would focus on legislation for job creation and small business lending with community banking institutions.

I believe it is time to move on this before the November 2010 elections! A job creation bill is greatly needed.

1. What kind of jobs bill would put all the 99ers to work
with the vast differences in skill sets across the all the unemployed?

2. From a governor that allowed
a NON-union GM plant in her state for making batteries. All against the promises of laid-off GM workers returning to their jobs. Did bot GM get enough of a break? How many pensions were lost due to the Repugs making GM declare bankruptcy?

Why is it that only the 'little people' have to abide by contracts? The pension monies for UAW workers should not have been a negotiating point, it should have already been paid in escrow.

Are we headed for a French revolution? or a Russian one?

3. A WPA type program is inevitable........there are NO JOBS....
There, likely will be, NO JOBS, for awhile. Uncle Ronny sent them overseas ! Dear Mr. President, turn the page, please. Oh and please make sure that you point out that the creepy, republicans ( you know the walking, dead ) caused this mess.

4. K&R! Yes please!
Deprivatize the military and we'd have lots more jobs -- cooks, electricians, plumbers, security guards, etc.
