Just Met Kendrick Meek

He was interviewed today at our TV station for a show airing this Sunday at 10am (WPTV in West Palm Beach). Nice guy.

3. Was the woman a Florida congressperson, like Meek?

If so, I imagine you're thinking of The Wass. (my nickname for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, which I will be using till it catches on, even if that day never comes.)

2. I met him back in the 2008 cycle, during the presidential primary. And, yeah, he seemed nice.

Of course, he's got a hell of a row to hoe. At this point, even the Democratic senatorial primary looks iffy, much less the November three-way. I think he'll at least beat Greene, but that November race looks brutal.
