5. But that was to keep people in....
and Mexico loves the money transfers sent back by undocumented workers. So I don't think they will be building any fences to restrain their population.

10. The point is that the Mexican oilgarchs would rather have...
people trekking northward to try to eke out a living for themselves and their families back home than actually address the huge inequalities in the distribution of wealth in their country.

16. I didn't include "our" fence since it's not complete, and rather "quaint" in most places
Edited on Wed Jul-28-10 03:31 PM by SoCalDem
The freepy types will not rest until it is total..even though they have NO idea what THAT would actually cost to build or to maintain or to man..and they never even think about the psychic damage it does to both sides of the fence:(

I have always thought that IF the "cost" is what;s bugging these small-brained types, why has the government not come up with a common sense way to deal with it..

The "experts" always seem to have access to the amounts, right up to the last penny, so why not just have the states present an annual accounting to the feds, who will then just deduct it from any aid to mexico.

the states get their money back
mexico has an incentive top care for, employ, educate & house their own people at home..cheaper..and where most of them would prefer to be..with family
