You can find anything you need at competitive prices, and a trial Amazon Prime account gets you free shipping (1 year free for students, 1 month for everyone else)

1. I love Amazon.com....
That's one of the first places I look when I want to buy something. I've never been disappointed.

2. Thank you...
Our collective purchasing power, what and from whom, maybe the only influence we have left in this current culture.

3. I had a huge problem with Amazon.com. Be careful!
I was trying to buy a used book. The seller who contacted me told me it was out of stock, but they would ship in 30 days, and asked if I still wanted the book. They sent me several of these notices. Well--- every time I clicked that I still wanted the book, they would charge me $29.95!

I did not notice it until my husband scrutinized the credit card bill! We called Amazon and their attitude was, "too bad". We disputed it with the credit card co. and had some the charges dropped, but it was still a huge PITA.

I know, I know--- it was probably my fault for not reading the fine print, but it was still a rotten thing to do.

8. That wasn't Amazon, it was one of their sellers they use for
out of print books and other odd items. Contact Amazon and tell them what happened. They'll drop this seller like a hot rock and might even refund at least some of your money.

I've had very good luck with them. They've replaced items that were damaged with no fuss at all.

Anything but Target at this point.

4. Screw Target! All the red in that store burns my retinas.
Not only that, but red represents the right and it seems as if Target aptly selected red because of their political affiliations. They are overpriced anyway. And once when I tried to return an item with my receipt they gave me a lot of trouble.

5. I buy most things through Amazon. And Prime is definitely worthwhile if you order all the time.
I have bought some larger ticket items that are very very heavy and gotten free shipping.

10. thanks. will switch, although I feel bad for our neighborhood Target
employees. I love near an inner city Target and have gotten to know many of the employees. Too bad their asshole, CEO, has to think it's all about him.
