These days, the feedback I get from some people is that the government is doing enough....no,too much...for our veterans.I had a conversation today at the grocery store with a veteran who revealed how much the government has yet to achieve in veteran care.Joe is a veteran of Korea and Viet Nam.He refuses to talk about his time in the service..."I did what any man would do...nothing special".Joe has had a thirty year battle with the VA just to obtain his coverage. For the Joe's out there who have been ignored despite their service...this is for you.
These are the Government numbers for Veterans Affairs. Many of the older veterans have no computer access,so I am listing phone numbers. You can find more information at http://www.va.gov/

It is the duty of our nation to ensure all veterans, current and past, receive the maximum our country can provide in exchange for their selfless service. These heroes are often reluctant to ask for help...it is OUR duty to make sure the facilities are easily accessed for all veterans with many different needs.Consider giving a little time helping them receive their benefits. You can find more information here:

Everyone has something to offer these brave troops. They offered their all for us.
