The effects of stress on a President handed a mess of a country to fix?

On the left is Senator Obama in 2008. On the right is President Obama in May, 2010. Just nomal aging for a man his age or signs of the stress associated with having to turn around a nearly-ruined conntry inherited from a gang of idiots?

1. Bigger smile
on the right with a twinkle in his eye...he appears to be more buff and he's wearing that damned flag pin. It takes it's toll but other than his hair going a bit more gray I'd say he looks good. I honestly don't know how he sleeps.

3. Partly, but the lighting on the two photos is dramatically

different. The left one was done with very low-key soft lighting, probably using a lighting umbrella. Some softening effects may also have been used after the photograph was taken. The second was taken with much more direct lighting, with no softening effects. Look at the ties. Note the soft edges in the left photo and compare with the crisp edges and shadows in the second.

Photographer's tricks. Nothing deliberate, just different portraiture styles.

5. Normal.
Look at photos of him at the 2004 convention and again in 2008. Getting old sucks.
