The financial changes that are needed:
Someone named Orda posted these words over at "alternet," and I thought they were both brilliant and concise:

In addition to appointing Elizabeth Warren, the reform we need consists of four pillars of change:

1. Campaign finance reform.
2. Reinstatement of Glass-Steagall
3. A financial transaction tax
4. Revocation of corporate personhood

3. I would like a return to a progressive income tax structure - with all income treated the same.
And a major revision of exactly what kind of financial schemes are legal. Let's get back to investing instead of gambling.

4. Good pillars
to use as a temporary structure akin to the destructive one we know, while Mrs. Warren designs something more streamlined and effective, thus stable and hopefully, accountable. Away with the mystique of the labyrinth of turf chasing culpable crews and other regulatory tools that only serve to create a system where everyone can blame everyone else.

Nice find!

5. Have you ever asked yourself
why the fiction of corporate personhood was necessary and how it came about?

Perhaps go do a bit of research, then we can talk about the ramifications of voiding the majority of contract law, and the anarchy that would ensue.

8. European nations, especially those of Scandanavia, have managed to
Have laws that are intelligent with regards to Corporations, without allowing their entire political system to be dictated by the Corporations.

Moderation in all things, saith Confucious. Pretty damn well close to the mark.

6. I would sum it up
as, we need a redistribution of wealth from the hands of a strictly controlling, military directing and technology-bearing few to the greater number of those living on this planet.

I am using the term wealth in contrast to Faith Based Tickets, i.e., money.

7. I'd quibble over several of those assertions, but they're certainly on the right track. K&R.
