1. Sound bites are all low information voters can remember...
Same with the NutMeg Witless ads in California... there's no substance at all, just a lot of bumper stickers laced together.

But we only have one loon spewing stupidity in So Cal... I'm so sorry you have to put up with this nonsense, spanone!

4. Oh it's more than sound bites, Wamp promises to "restore America to its Judeo-Christian heritage"
http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2010/jul/29/new-wamp-tv-ad-invokes-god/">New Wamp TV ad invokes God

NASHVILLE — In a new 30-second ad titled "Here's My Heart," Republican gubernatorial hopeful Zach Wamp puts his religious views front and center and suggests he is the person to help "restore America to its Judeo-Christian heritage and our Constitution."

"The other candidates for governor are spending millions attacking me," the Chattanooga congressman says in the ad, which began airing Tuesday. "But the truth is I have a solid conservative record and the right experience to be our 49th governor.

"And here’s my heart," the candidate continues. "I believe God is the center of the universe. He made us to serve him and to serve others. We must restore America to its Judeo-Christian heritage and our Constitution. This can start here in Tennessee. So I want to be your governor."

7. You and me both.
Bf's brothers insist this is a christian nation, I used to blame TN schools for not teaching history but now I realize they hear this shit from the people in charge all their lives.

We don't stand a chance.

3. Tell me about it. bf fears for his teevee whenever I'm alone with it.
You really have no idea how bad it is unless you live here. I'm from New England and still in shock.

8. Christo-fascist Zach Wamp is the one who scares me the most.
It is the primaries, and the Dem candidates are pretty much already decided. But it is pretty funny with each Rep candidate claiming to be more "conservative" than the rest.

I was glad to see that the uncontested Dem candidate for Gov - McWherter - finally did a commercial. I was hoping that he wasn't planning to ride his "daddy's coat-tails" in, but it was a pretty good first commercial. All he needs is Bredesen's "blessing".

Personally, I suspect Haslem will be the Repuke candidate. My company has had many dealings with his family's company Pilot Oil. I hate them with a purple passion.
