These numbers (from a Pew Research poll conducted July 29 - August 1) http://congressionalconnection.nationaljournal.com/2010/08/public-prefers-candidates-who.php shouldn't surprise anybody, but given what passes for conventional wisdom these days, they could very well be a shock:

3. This happens due to demonization of certain words/phrases...
And the basic fact that when you break down issues into easily digestible tidbits, a lot of people agree with each other.

I find it interesting that the knee-jerk Obama hate shows up so clearly in these poll results. I guess they like what he does, but they don't like him. I wonder why?

The only poll that counts comes from the Tea Baggers, and if'n you don't listen to their words, maybe you'll listen when their revolutin' ways do the talkin'! But we're not threatening violence, so stop saying that, you bunch of librul gun-grabbers!
