... invading and occupying Iraq and Afghanistan now the people most adamant about wanting the occupations to end? I have noticed this reaction among the people I am acquainted with a lot. Back then they were like, "Damn the torpedoes, lets roll!". Before we attacked I was saying don't you think we should think this big move out more before we jump into something that may not turn out well for us? Now those same "Damn, the torpedoes!", guys are saying screw this, get the troops out now!

Anyone else notice this among their friends, family and acquaintances?

Don

opposed to the war in Iraq from the beginning, considering it a pre-emptive war of choice.

The Afghan war is different: people's feelings are more conflicted. I don't know anyone (in real life) who feels confident saying - 'get out now'.

2. They always talk out of both sides of their mouth.
Just like baby ducks following their Fox news Mother.

4. Yes!
I remember thinking I was in the Twilight Zone when I heard "Well, we need to support our President." "We don't need them attacking us here!" etc.

Now they are either quiet about it or they think the troops should come home immediately... like they knew it all along. Makes me sick.
