California and pot legalization?
So i looked on Wikipedia on prop 19 and it said the sale of marijuana would still be illegal under federal law "the Controlled Substance Act." My question is what is the point of voting on it if it is still illegal? Wouldn't that violate the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution?

1. Even the current exceptions for medical marijuana that several states have
are still illegal under federal law. The DEA will occasionally raid dispensaries. But even so, being legal under state law has made it much more accessible. General legalization under state law would make it even more accessible.
