Does Sarah Palin have an ax to grind against teachers?
The Hill, Mediaite and others are calling attention to a few seconds of video footage out of Homer in which Sarah Palin, defending herself against a local protester with a giant banner reading "Worst Governor Ever," seems to roll her eyes and says "ohhh" when the woman identifies herself as a teacher (Bristol Palin, jumping to her mom's defense, seems to do the same thing). Otherwise, Palin largely tried to deliver her usual Fox News-style talking points to protester Kathleen Gustafson.

This afternoon, Palin, in a Facebook post, blamed the "lamestream media" for misinterpreting her reaction in the video and pointed out that her father was a schoolteacher.

Palin was on the Homer Spit for a fishing outing being filmed for her upcoming TLC show "Sarah Palin's Alaska." Read more about the encounter courtesy of the anti-Palin, Anchorage-based radio and TV commentator Shannyn Moore. The "teacher moment" comes just after the one-minute mark in the video below, shot by Spit businessman Billy Sullivan, who Moore says helped Gustafson put up her banner.

This is also really funny from Shannon Moore's blog

In what has become typical tragic irony, Sarah initially claimed to support Kathleen’s First Amendment Rights. But as soon as Billy Sullivan walked toward the dock, one of Palin’s entourage tore down the sign to great applause from her group.

Todd Palin approached Billy (who owns a business called Dockside Fish and buys halibut on that dock) and asked him to get out of the Discovery crew’s shot. “You just can’t get enough of her, can you?” he asked. An Alaska State Trooper told Billy he should call the Homer Police Department and report the trespassing and destruction of property.

2. didn't she go to *4* different colleges before she got her degree in journalism?
If she changed schools because she was doing poorly, she just may very well have an ax to grind.

3. Educators are a threat to her type
The more educated people become, the less support people like Palin get.

BINGO!!!
An educated public is a despot's worst enemy.

That is true for repukes and teabaggers too. An educated public is their worst nightmare.

6. Sarah does not commercial fish out of Homer either
The whole premise of this episode is a lie.

I hope someone exposes this little fact...

"The Palin’s fishing business doesn’t include IFQ’s (Individual Fishing Quotas) necessary for commercially harvesting halibut"

13. Right...
SP is such a free speech advocate, it was all she could do to get her family and security to try to block her opponent's videocameras! (Although she did take a sec to fluff her hair for the cameras...I couldn't help but notice...).

14. Mrs Ex Governor Lady Person was intimidated by her protestor's profession
Or her Mom and Dad filled her fluffy young head with horrific tales of their liberal co-workers. Sarah probably has long-held resentments towards educators.

I'm more intrigued with how much of a little snot-bucket Willow Bark is turning out to be. Did you notice her jazz-handed explanation that her mommy was now leading "All the people"?
