more easily but who knew they wanted the governments to be ill-informed too. In Canada the neocon government has just changed the long form census into a voluntary one. Statisticians agree it will then be much less scientific and their will be a lack of information on certain groups of people.

Tell me something: how does this make neocons richer?

I mean other than the obvious public policy which will be at the very least misdirected if not out and out less generous...do capitalist make more money out of this? The fact that they have access to accurate market research (which they regularly pay for) while the rest of the country does not...does this make them money? Are these holes they punch in the equitable programs like the census now new arenas for more economic growth?

1. It means, basically,
that NGO's and social services are underfunded, and it gives them an excuse to do just that....hell, if you can't see them, they're not there, are they?

I despise this man, and have voted against him every single time they let me. However, he's balanced on a very fine edge; government secrecy was the thing he ran against, and the very thing that will, I hope, bring him down.

2. Harper's numbers have gone down to 29%. We can only hope they go lower.
Paul Martin came out and said Harper was basically dumbing down the canadian government.
