Hands down, this is the BEST dog/animal story I've ever read. Amazing. An absolute joy.
Its originally from the UK Daily Mail but link below is snopes which determined it is absolutely true and that the accompanying photos are untouched.

The truly amazing story of an abused and abandoned greyhound named Jasmine.

4. Jasmine.
That is from an angel episode, it is a story of computing loss versus any loss is wrong.

Thinking being able to assign value to life. For instance, something like Jasmine might say it only needs a few things, and in return offers peace, but what if the few things it hurt were the ones that would set things right?

When people start thinking in terms of being able to decide what life is worth more, they make decisions usually based on what they think is best. And people that make those decisions then pick people to 'survive' that fit there idea and continue their ideology. And the ideology gets more extream.

I think a person weather friend or foe should be helped if you have the opportunity and resources to do so.

I think the writers of that episode got that story right. Try to help everyone, many times the only people you are able to help are people that do not agree with you, or that are different then you, and if you don't help them you miss the opportunity to help anyone.

and still knows how to show love completely.
