The GOP Always Knows that There is an Upcoming Election
I don't want Sarah Palin becoming the next president. If Democrats of all stripes don't come together that could very well happen.

On the Rachel Maddow Show of July 27th 2010 Chris Hayes foretold how the impending GOP politics of personal destruction will occur.

He said "Remember how awesome the Clinton years were? The $2 million Arkansas project launched by a conservative magazine to take President Clinton down -- Whitewater, Ken Starr, Troopergate? The conspiracy theory that President Clinton was running drugs out of an airstrip in Arkansas?

"This is the governing strategy Republicans want to return to if they win back the House majority this November. But you don't have to take my word for it. Take it from Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota): "I think all we should do is issue subpoenas and have one hearing after another."

1. But the Democrats are looking forward, no prosecution of Bush crimes...
Yes, I know its the past and we should forget so we can relive it in the coming days, but something about it bothers me. I just can't figure it out.

2. Clinton...
.. was mostly lucky. The disastrous results of his policies (free trade, NAFTA, etc) did not arrive until he was long gone.

That said, Obama is no Clinton. If the Dems are going to fiddle while the country burns, let it burn.

3. You Get What You Deserve...
Seems there are so many out there pissed at Democrats and this administration for one reason or another...either it's too "socialist" or "corportist"...and many Democratic candidates are sitting on their hands or wringing them that the electorate may just make the stupid mistake of thinking rushpublicans care about anything but their own self interests. This administration has tried to play it down the middle and has been run over endless and looks weak...and the fatigue from the non-stop attacks from hate radio and corporate media have made matters worse.

While I wish it not to be...but I don't see a compelling argument being put out there by Democrats...they're still trying "test balloons" in August. Not a good sign. But then if the electorate can't remember how disastrous the GOOP has been in the past, we may just have to get yet another lesson.

4. Since when have the Neocons not fought like guttersnipes?
That's because they are from the gutter. The meanest, filthiest and most
deceitful low-lifes in the history of dirty politics.
