I have to ask, How many read what is on the board before posting

I see topic after topic on the same subject and sometimes repeating word for word another post. Is this because people post without looking at threads or is it they want to start the "big news" thread? It really is distracting and with 10 or 12 topics started on the same thing it causes other good threads from being seen easily. I hope people will look and see if a topic is there and reply instead of all these same threads cluttering up the board.

9. then why aren't people getting it?

I have read several threads today on Gibbs and some saying the same stuff as well as posted close together so obviously these people need to be reminded. I will point out that in the top 3 pages you don't see a single topic about this so your statement shows defensiveness and not a very honest reply.
