Threads on the oil issue of late tend to...sink to the bottom largely undetected.
I don't blame a lot of people for being a bit burnt out on it. Plus the OP was not very good.

But in case you are curious and in respect for the person who just recommended it:
CNN just reported that there is an increase in oiled turtles. The reason they reported was that there are more boats looking for them.

In addition, the journalist or what ever also reported that it costs 5 grand to clean each turtle. She produced a cynical looking smirk when she she said the amount. Real journalists do not editorialize with their facial expressions.

seem to remember hearing a story a few weeks back about birds being cleaned up, but most of them died anyway. I'm hoping the turtles are faring better; they could hardly do worse.
