Lame blame
Back in the mid-1980s our local shopping mall was purchased by a big shopping-mall-cookie-cutter company. They pretty much wrecked it. So another company bought it in 2004. According to a story in today's newspaper the present owners are on the verge of defaulting on their $41million loan. So, of course, the local teapeople are posting comments to the article blaming Obama for the default:

And these people are part of the large Tea Party presence here, people we'll have to deal with every day in the runup to the November election. Their candidate is Ken Buck.

1. Could be worse.
The local mall here is owned by Larry Silverstein's Westfield Inc.

You know..... the asshole who bought the World Trade Center about 6 weeks before it ceased to exist, but not before he had the property insured for a cool $99 Billion
