IVAW Calls for Prosecution of Bush Administration Officials for War Crimes
IVAW Calls for Prosecution of Bush Administration Officials for War Crimes\

http://warcrimestimes.org/

At its seventh annual national convention in Austin, Texas, IVAW called for the prosecution of senior Bush administration officials for allegedly conspiring to manipulate intelligence in order to justify the U.S. invasion of Iraq.

IVAW alleges that Bush administration officials conspired to create the perception that Saddam Hussein presented an imminent threat to the United States in order to bypass an uncooperative U.N. Security Council and secure a congressional Authorization for Use of Military Force against Iraq….

1. I think the lesson so far is the rule of law is not important to this administration.

They refuse to enforce the laws that were broken by these members of the royal political class.

The law is only for us little people.
I would like to see our constitutional scholar try to explain how some are above the law in his eyes using the constitution to base his argument on.

3. I admire IVAW for calling for prosecution, but this administration will never prosecute neocons.

5. They should never be allowed to feel that they don't have to
look over their shoulders for the law, that for now, has been put in mothballs by this administration. But sooner or later we may get a real Progressive Democratic Majority in Congress who actually believe in our system of justice and who knows, even if it takes another ten years or so, so long as we never forget, justice may be done.

Good for them for making that demand even though this DOJ will never prosecute War Criminals.
