Where is Obama?
This is the time for Obama to go on TV and take credit!
Where is he? He's missing a great moment to get his due!

1. This was a TV thing. Combat ops continue until Aug. 31st.
We do not want a 'banner' moment.

3. Maybe he is hiding as usual
Maybe he knows the hypocrisy of celebrating a war ending when he has another one on the fire in Afghanistan.

If war is bad, it doesn't make sense to keep another one going full force.

Vacation is something I value very highly both form myself and others. I get on my people if they are not taking vacations or not using it to get away from work.

10. He left here (Miami Beach) about 4 hours ago- I waved as they went by
Attended the event as well- great gathering at the Fontainebleau. I got to take a photo with Congressman Grayson- way cool. Packed crowd-- lots of waiting but worth it. I still love this guy. I'm still happy he's my President. I've been frustrated with him like all of us have, but seeing him there and remembering who he is (and what a damn fucking mess he's been dealing with) and realized he really is doing a good job. All in all. We as a party just SUCK at communications. And most of the damn Democrats currently are a bunch of whimps.

16. I think it's amazing how he is handling the incredible mess
he inherited. I agree that the Democrats don't seem to have the knack of exploiting anything that they can use to help themselves. I guess that they're just not made up of the same kind of scheming, manipulative types that most of the Republicans appear to be.

15. I heard them say that and don't agree with them.
He just has to go on TV for about 5 minutes or so to draw to attention to the public (all of whom are not news geeks like we are) the fact that he has gotten the fighting troops out of Iraq as he promised. He doesn't have to take any questions. Just make his announcement and leave. He deserves credit. He's had the worst mess imaginable to deal with as president and is doing a good job....IMO

I'm trying to say what the moment is saying but there is plenty of time for the President to speak later.
