Republicans and the New York Mosque
The Republicans have said they plan to use the fact that President Obama gave at leat some form of support to the building of a mosque two blocks away from ground zero. The Republicans seem to believe that this will be a good issue for them. This is not a good issue for the Republican Party. By constantly promoting this issue and discussing this issue the Republicans will prove what President Obama and Democratic have been saying for months; that the Republican do not have any issue on which to run in this election.

In addition, the American people most likely do not want this issue discussed during a campaign season. People are most likely more concerned with jobs and how either party will fix the economy. People want to hear about job creation, job stability, and housing stability. Those are the issues that are really affecting American families.
