90% of TV commentators are total morons.
on MSNBC today, the host asked their "expert" what Obama was doing wrong.

Answer: He's chosen bad policies.

Then she started talking about Clinton's numbers in the 90's and then I changed the channel.

2. Most of them have no idea what they're talking about, and are reactionary screamers.
But they make up most of cable news today.

3. i don't know about reactionary. the news channels have a story they want to tell, and
they twist things to fit that story. just like a reality show. they take things and mash them up to portray things a certain way, even if that is not the way they happened. and then they propagate that story over and over hoping it will make it true. it's like when they show the tea partiers. they show them so much so they look like a majority of the people out there when in fact they are a very small group of people. it's not about the truth or the news... it's about RATINGS and whatver they have to do to get those ratings.

You sound like one of them their truthers. ><grin><

Do the networks conspire to tell just their side of the story, to hell with the truth?

It's all about money. Money which they get from selling advertising to big companies, big companies that don't always tell the truth.

Most ads are not honest. The talking potato heads are in business with possibly dishonest advertisers. Can you see the pollution?

No wonder we're screwed.

Where is the profit in telling the truth all the time?

5. Mental Masturbation Is More Like It...
The corporate media is an elite club. It thrives on itself as all its members live for the limelight...the byline...the appearance. It's a small world of impress and be impressed and has developed it's own "conventional wisdom"...the latest gossip that becomes the fodder for endless hours and words spewed across the cables and blogs. It's the hot topic at the drinkie-drinkie party and the presumptions at the view from a very insular ivory tower.

Our media is stuck on self-absorbed...it's easier to fill up hours of time with endless babble among the usual suspects than to spend money on real journalists and reporters. Infotainment makes money, nard news doesn't. Thus the psychobabble...

7. She was doing what she was paid to do.
Saw it and it was an obvious scripted piece. The 'expert' Lady Lynn Forester de Rothchild (WTF is with that elitist name) was introduced as a Democratic Strategist. She was a McCain supporter, and likely has never voted for a Dem in her life. (see nice you tube clip of the Commoner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE13Zb0ejco)

The other guest did a good job of noting that Clinton raised taxes as part of the deficit reduction, something that the "lady" neglected to note as part of her rant regarding the deficit.

responsible taxing of those making over 250,000.

Her presence was directed at tearing down Obama and his policies "redistributing wealth'... while ignoring Bush's irresponsible redistribution of wealth towards the already wealthy (like her). And... while trumpeting Clinton's policies. Very weird.
