Fuck! A close friend for the last 25 years just committed suicide.
Hadn't had a lot of contact with him over the last couple of years as we were several hundred miles away. Shitty way to start the weekend.

19. I agree with you. From the reports that I have read,
this was something that he had planned and had threatened to harm himself in the past.

I appreciate your offer of assistance during this trying time. I have a wonderful wife who has been helping me through this tonight. It was he who introduced me to my wife!

15. I have a wonderful wife and daughter and extended family
that has provided me and is providing me with the support that I need at this time. I'm sure I will talk to someone in the future just to help me straighten out things.

Friends are hard to find as it is. When you lose someone close to you, it is a true tragedy. :(
