WaPo OMFG
Comparing the political popularity and economic recoveries under Raygun and Obama, and finding one of them not quite as likely to succeed. Care to guess which one? (As if the "government is the problem" policies kicked off by the former didn't lead to the pile of $#|^ the latter is dealing with).

1. There was no recovery under Raygun. There was 8 years of a crappy economy, followed by 4 more years
under Dumbass the Elder.

2. He Increased Spending on Defense
If you lived in a state that benefited from defense spending, it was great. Lots of jobs were created there. But it was slow in the rest of the country. Interest rates were still high.In other words, an unbalanced economic expansion. Clinton's tax hikes enabled the interest rates to come down, and the economic expansion was balanced.
