Looks like CA might get a late summer after all
I sort of hope so, for the tomatoes' sake, but have really been enjoying the below-normal temps we've been having.

It's barely 70 degress today, yet tomorrow is forecast to be in the 80s, and Monday in the mid 90s!

This is not normal for California.

6. No! No can haz!
I'm loving it =(

Everyone keeps telling me this isn't normal for the Bay Area. Wish it was. So much better than Chicago in August. This morning felt like a Chicago October.

10. It's all your fault!
 It's like the whole Bay Area is having a San Francisco summer. I had to look for wool socks! It's so wrong!

8. Summer until the past few days has been abnormally cool it's true.
But everybody has been fully expecting us to have to pay the price with some nasty heat, and at last it has arrived. It's been hot for a week, and now getting hotter and hotter and hotter. It is forecast to be 103F on Mon thru Wed, so I expect 110+.

9. I was secretly hoping that we slid into Fall without ever getting the heat
I was even willing to sacrifice my (still green, or worse, flowering) tomatoes.

Crap. Oh well, it's not like 100 degree temps can last into December.

Can they? :scared:

14. It stayed hellishly hot until Thanksgiving just a few years ago.
But I think it will cool back down and we'll have a decent fall.

11. i just hope it doesn't go longer than it should and we get some rain
do you think summer is kind of being pushed back into september/october maybe ? i hope that's not the case. hope it's just warmer for the rest of the month and into part of next month but that it starts getting normal after that.

12. I really have no idea
I hope the weather normalizes but why should it? If it hasn't been normal this summer, why should we expect it to resume in the Fall?
