How can Obama be both a Socialist and a Muslim
When the Soviets invaded Afghanistan wasn't the main reason Muslims went to Afghanistan to fight was because they considered Socialism an affront to god?

Having said that, Obama can't be both a Muslim and a Socialist. They should pick 1 smear and stick with it.

A Muslim-socialist-fascist non-American-born non-white who personally crashed planes into the WTC and the Pentagon and then personally wrecked the economy. The way I've heard some people talk, I think they might actually think that.

They are not Jewish.
Jewish people have been helping people for years, it is part of the teachings.

And I am part Jewish by heritage also, although I think it is disrespectful when someone uses heritage to justify actions they do outside of those teachings.

...and have virtually nothing to do with one another, and nothing to say about one another. It is entirely plausible that one might be muslim and socialist, christian and socialist, buddhist and socialist, atheist and socialist-- whatever. The soviet party bosses did not speak for all socialists or all communists on that subject by any means.

They were pretty much that. Technically Muslim, but largely secular. Pan Arabist with socialist leanings.

Syria and Iraq were the centers of power for the Ba'ath parties.

Of course Obama is not a muslim, nor a socialist, but such a thing did exist.

16. He's neither. The "socialist" charge is a phony RW charge that, while I wish were true,
is wholly without merit. Obama is not even a Progressive let alone a socialist. As far as the "Muslim" claim, who really gives a shit.
