Just ignore it!

His fans are going to be there, I mean, they worship the ground he trods on.
I don't give a sewer rat's ass what happens.

1. We should have been ignoring him when he first started his rants
I have never seen him, Palin, Bachman,Limbaugh et al because I don't watch RV or listen to radio.

2. Burying our head in the sand won't make him go away.
A lot of people seem to think that we should just ignore Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, FAUX News, and all these other hatemongers. The problem with that is that ignoring them doesn't make them go away. Not paying attention to them isn't going to do anything. The reason why they're gathering steam isn't just to piss us off. They're growing in popularity because their message resonates with a growing number of people. They know that there's a lot of fear and mistrust out there, and they're giving those people something to latch on to. A lot of us laughed at the Tea Party movement when it first started, but now these people are getting elected to public offices throughout the nation. We ignore them at our own peril. It's important that we stay informed so we can fight them. No, we might not be able to reason with the person who is convinced that Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate is forged. But we can reason with the so-called "moderate" voter who hasn't quite made up their mind what they think, who might happen to have friends or relatives who consider themselves Tea Party members.

5. I'd ignore them. My TV will be off
Besides, bunches of saggy tourists, hanging out on the Mall, is a pretty common sight on any given weekend in DC.

Beck's desired effect on the ground there won't even be a drop in the bucket. It'll be largely ignored.

The real problem stems from all the media outlets that plan to cover his bullshit... And guess what? They all depend on ADVERTISERS, with the exception of C-Span, and only policy wonks watch C-Span (I know, I'm one of them).

It's simple, lodge complaints against the fools who are spreading his message and the advertisers who sponsor them.

Tell all of them that you despise and detest the way that they're spreading Beck's message of lies, intolerance and hate.

That Beck boycott idea is costing Fox News big time and the fact that Beck had to rely on his Goldline pals has put his ass into a potential sling because of that boycott.

These fuckers are going to say whatever they want, whenever and wherever they want...

They just shouldn't get a free pass for it.

4. That's my plan. This is a media circus. There is not
one person attending tomorrow that voted for Obama. These are the same people that voted McCain/Palin and are
so bitter they simply can't get on with their lives. Let them enjoy their little gathering. and if anyone believes for a
moment this wasn't deliberately planned on the anniversary of Dr. Kings speech their a damn fool. They are hoping
and praying for a confrontation and I hope they don't get one.
