11. Are you just Monitoring CSPAN or other Stations?

I don't have a TV and am watching something else on line right now multi window.
How many do you think are there?

I know the reflecting pool area well on predicting crowd sizes having gone to not only many Vietnam War protests there but even having my mother drag me to see Martin Luther King speech.... I only wished I was older then to understand it but two years later I think I did.
My Mom is buried at Arlington Cemetery.

About quarter way of the reflecting pool depending on density can be around 5-20 thousand, but if they have their umbrellas or other beach type action going it will be less.

7. I suppose you could make a sort of "Where's Waldo" game
out of trying to find black people in that audience. Except that in the real "Where's Waldo" games, Waldo is actually there.

8. I've watched for a few minutes now ...
... and so far it sounds like a rally for another war.

It looks like a very, very white rally expressing a blind adoration and fanaticism towards the military.

Pretty boring.

9. I'm hoping Al Sharpton's rally today will have a diverse crowd. If I was in DC I'd go to that one.
Edited on Sat Aug-28-10 09:47 AM by mucifer
It would be very sad if both rallys were completely segregated.

12. I was JUST about to post that it's turning into "Where's Waldo?", in
trying to find a non-white face in that crowd!
