Another Human foot found on Puget Sound beach
http://www.seattlepi.com/local/425768_foot27.html

A person walking along the beach near a Greenbank boat launch late Friday morning found what has been identified as a human right foot, Island County Sheriff's Office said.

The foot was likely in the water for less than two months, investigators said, and judging by the size of the foot, it likely belonged to a woman or a child. The foot reportedly had no skin; only muscle and tendon remained.

Because Island County does not have an open missing person case, deputies are expanding the investigation to include outside agencies. A DNA profile is pending....

The first three feet washed ashore about 40 miles southwest of Vancouver on the islands in the Strait of Georgia in 2008. The first foot was discovered last summer by beachcombers. Days later, a foot was found inside a man's Reebok sneaker. The remains of a third right foot were found Feb 8, 2008.

The fourth foot was found May 22, 2008, on Kirkland Island in.....

2. Yet they don't think foul play?
What, is there a group of people that decided one day they didn't like their pedicure and got a little carried away with the solution?

Seriously, even if these are drowning deaths, what are the chances in multiple incidents of just feet washing up?

4. Well, think about it for a second...
people drown...get eaten by sea critters...

when we eat chicken or beef, do we eat the feet?

Mystery solved.

You asked....

And, yeah, chicken feet are a delicacy for some at dim sum...

10. If so many people drowned, where are the missing persons reports?

12. Hmmm.... OK, how about this...
All these people were executed by the North Korean government.

Brought out into the ocean and dumped overboard to drown. Possible? I think so. Probable? I think yes on that too...

Just a theory, though...don't take my word for it...

11. And all the feet except for this one wearing sneakers?
I don't think people in sneakers are going to go for a swim.
I don't understand why after finding so many feet police don't think foul play is involved.

21. Maybe the feet don't show any signs of being cut off with an instrument.
If they had eight feet with saw marks on the bones, or some other sign of mechanical damage, they'd suspect a crime. It sounds from what the article says and doesn't say that the feet seem to be coming off through natural decay. Maybe because they were in shoes they weren't eaten by marine life.

If the new foot was only in the water about 2 months, though, then it's not connected (no pun intended) to the others unless through some common cause, like maybe a killer. Or maybe a graveyard slowly washing into a river somewhere, or maybe something weirder.

Anyway, I'd guess that there are no marks indicating the bones were cut, so that's why they think the feet just came apart from natural decay. But obviously I'm just guessing.

25. Does this area have a previous history of this type of thing?
In other words, have random body parts washed up regularly for decades? I'd thought it was only the last few years. Has a relatively new facility of some sort been built in the area that might be tied in with this grisly stuff? Weird.
