War is a horrible thing, and should always be the last resort because shit like this happens. But what is it with the left and acting like we're the only country that has ever had a war that was brutal?

War will always be hell, regardless of whether we're involved or not. There really hasn't been any large scale conflict that was civil.

Blaming American soldiers, who already are suffering record rates of mental problems and many who are physically scarred for life, for Bush's decision to invade and to lock up the native Iraqis is wrong, and so are the assholes who blame the troops.

Please remember there's a distinction between the "deciders" who make the policy and the grunts who are in the military. Let's work to get the troops out of there and to keep this country from going to war for a long time.
