FINALLY the WH took out that Shrub oval office rug!

Here's a link to the article.

While Obama was on vacation the WH changed the wallpaper, put in new furniture and a new rug in the oval office. All the items were MADE IN AMERICA! It's pretty neat that the rug has quotes on its border thaat include some of the most famous words ever spoken by Americans.

I found the quotes on the rug.

President Obama selected the following five historical quotes for the rug:

"The Only Thing We Have to Fear is Fear Itself," President Franklin D. Roosevelt
"The Arc of the Moral Universe is Long, But it Bends Towards Justice," Martin Luther King Jr.
"Government of the People, By the People, For the People," President Abraham Lincoln
"No Problem of Human Destiny is Beyond Human Beings," President John F. Kennedy
"The Welfare of Each of Us is Dependent Fundamentally Upon the Welfare of All of Us," President Theodore Roosevelt

2. Definitely.
And get some replacement tracks, while you're at it.

6. Not that it's any of my business but I think it represents a waste of time and money
I just can't say anything nice about that room except that if the dog shits or someone spills coffee no one will notice.

12. I liked Clinton's dark blue better
pale couches, pale rug and pale walls add up to too neutral for my tastes. But he didn't ask my opinion before redecorating.
