Rudy: “The Democrats should debate on Fox”

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/05/16/giuliani-calls-on-democrats-to-debate-on-fox/

<snip>

Given that, one of the Republican presidential contenders, Rudolph W. Giuliani, called on Democrats to reconsider their refusal. “The Democrats should debate on Fox,” Mr. Giuliani said in an interview. “I think they would get a good chance to explain themselves. If the Republicans candidates are willing to debate on MSNBC and CNN, the Democrats should be willing to debate on Fox. I don’t think they’d want us to look like the bolder group of candidates.”

26. Not far enough left to "fairly balance" Fox...
Have Pacifica Radio host, with Amy Goodman as moderator.

2. Why? Does Brit Hume want to pitch another "Die Hard" movie in the form of a question?
"Senator Obama, it's Christmas, and you're at an office party with your estranged wife, when suddenly..."

5. Yippie-Ki-yay!
I especially liked the Jerry Springer audience. It was a nice touch and it gave the debate that pinch of class it needed. :P

That's not a coherent argument.
CNN and MSNBC aren't left-leaning news organizations. They're moderate at best and sometimes right-leaning, but never left-leaning.

8. Yes it's bold, BOLD
to debate fictional responses to fictional terrorist attacks on a massively biased TV station in front of a massively biased crowd. If that's what Rudy thinks bold is he must buy his salsa from NYC.

10. when the head of fox news makes a joke associating Obama with osama
and refuses to appologize, when you have an entire so-called news source spend over 50% of its airtime painting the Democrats as out of the norm, WHY SHOULD THEY?

So their positions can be misprepresented?

Screw fox

12. Call the whaaa-mbulance for Mr. Giuliani
Up yours, Rudy. By the way, how's Bernie doing these days? Would there be room for him in your cabinet if, through some hideous electoral mistake, you were actually placed in the White House?

14. LOL--CNN is a corporate propaganda channel-although not quite as bad as Faux
and MSNBC was purely partisan during their one debate.
Hey Rudy--Faux is NOT a news organization and any thinking person shouldn't treat them as such.

16. Well, maybe the Democrats would debate on Faux, if
it was moderated by Jim Lehrer, and the Fox Noise channel had absolutely input into the questions asked and how the questions were phrased.
