George Bush had one thing right...
when he sent out those checks for all of us instead of putting in the form of tax cuts...Why? Because we actually saw the money...The tax cuts Obama gave us are good, but the average person doesn't do their own taxes so they don't know they got a tax cut. Oh yeah, they got more back this year, but I'll bet they attribute that to other reasons...like their tax guy found a loop-hole or whatever reasoning they can come up with...but if Obama actually gave us that tax cut in the form of a check separate from our filing ...maybe things would be perceived differently...


When I was in sales management I found that offering a percentage off in a sale did not work as well as having coupons for an actual $$$ amount...it's the perception of actual cash in hand...

6. Everyone I know, even people who should be doing
the E-Z forms have H&R block doing them...I've always done mine because if you can read - you can do your taxes..

3. Those checks were a sham
They were an advance on the refund the taxpayer was getting the next year. A payday loan.

we know that, but the tea people type cannot reason, so it was more of a bribe for them (although they didn't see it that way) they saw it as * taking care of them...
