Sharron Angle faces copyright lawsuit
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100905/ap_on_el_se/us_nevada_senate_copyright_lawsuit

A company has sued Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle, claiming she reprinted two Las Vegas Review-Journal articles on her campaign website without permission.

Las Vegas-based Righthaven is seeking unspecified damages in its complaint filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas.

The suit alleges Angle neither sought nor received permission to display a Review-Journal article and editorial on her website this summer.

An Angle spokesman says he would not comment until the campaign's lawyers have reviewed the suit.

2. Two assholes made for each other.
Made in heaven. I hope Angle spends the rest of her campaign money trying to fend off Righthaven.

I love this.

Righthaven has gone batshit crazy with their barratary lawsuits. The judge needs to SLAPP them out of court and out of business.

3. I agree. I just read that
at least 117 cases have been filed since March, suing both liberal and conservative sites

4. Sweet revenge
As you may or may not have noticed, Righthaven has also sued DU because somebody posted an excerpt from one of "their" stories here.

That sucks -- but having the same guns turned on Angle almost makes it all worthwhile.
