Street shot from within the march---crowd is curb to curb out of sight and is still coming around a distant corner.
Another shot of the Reclaim the Dream march. The folks in green shirts are teamsters who were VERY vocal! Compare this shot and the one above to the photos in the newspapers. The papers, for some reason, chose photos taken at the very beginning of the march where we were on a narrow residential street with cars parked along both sides. Any photo there would show only a couple of hundred people.
Near the center of this shot is Rev. Al Sharpton about to step off in the lead of the Reclaim the Dream march, August 28,2010.
And, finally, this is the sign Mrs. Atticus and I showed to the flag-draped haters and screamers on their way to listen to Beck and Palin, the tag team featured in the main event and representing Hypocrites-R-Us. I have it on good authority that the statue the the Great Emancipator actually wept.
