now, if we can just get al quida to eat the damn stuff, in about 10-20 years they'll all drop dead and we can declare victory and go home.

11. Are you referring to the blond female soldier?..
I ain't exactly slim these days, but I don't believe that soldier needs any Burger King.

When I was in the Corps - a thousand years ago - somebody with a lotta stripes would have that excess poundage off of her in a heartbeat.... well.... several weeks of rapid heartbeats.

9. I don't quite understand...
Does this mean that certain companies get a license to sell their shit to a captive market of US troops? Did those companies pay to get that license? Why those particular companies? Who pays transport costs for their products? What are the prices like?... That is, how much profit? Are there messhalls (or whatever they call them these days)? Why does the military allow junk food for their troops?

When I was in the shit - about a thousand years ago - I would have liked a McDonald's or Dunkin Donuts, but somehow the Corps just didn't let it happen.

14. The military was complicit in pushing cigarettes onto the GIs
in much the same way a few decades ago.
