Bloodshot eyes always mean you've been smoking pot?

Trophy Club high school suspended a grieving 16-year-old boy for smoking marijuana because he had “bloodshot eyes” -- two days after his father died.

Kyler Robertson, a junior at Byron Nelson High School, was suspended for three days and transferred to an alternative school until January.

His father, Richard Robertson of Fort Worth, was stabbed to death near Azle on Sunday after getting into an argument with another man, police said. Kyler lives with his mother, Cristy Fritz, who has not been together with Robertson for a number of years.

On Tuesday, Kyler’s mother said her son was still grieving but longed for a sense of normalcy and wanted to be around friends.
"He insisted on going to school and said he just wanted everything to be, you know, normal," Fritz said.

Actually the vast majority of us have good critical thinking skills as well as common sense. It's just a few dipshits that make us all look bad.

This woman does not deserve to be a principal if she has no "good critical thinking skills." And, how completely heartless can this woman be after the boy lost his father, and then he has to put up with this shite.

My first response reading this: oh, HELL no! I can't believe what they're doing to to this kid.

Allergies and internet addiction will do that too.

For whatever reason the kid is not an academic all-star and the school has an financial incentive to get rid of him because he and others in that category will drag the school's average TEST SCORES down. So, the school will seize on anything it can to get him out of the pool.

Clear Eyes, although having bright-white sclera is only part of the equation. There's no disguise for the heavy-lidded 'bedroom eyes' associated with marijuana use. Short of taping my eyelids, I don't know of a cure for laid-back eyes.

No that I've ever noticed. It does dry out your eyes - I could NEVER wear contacts and engage in a heavy pot smoking night.

But I've NEVER gotten red eyes.

This is probably just a 'drug myth' that ALL people who partake of illegal substances INSTANTLY get red eyes.. Or maybe it's the cocaine and heroin addicts who get the "red eye" look from being up for more than 24 hrs.

Because I was pretty stoned at the time, I was especially interested in what he was doing. I asked him why I was "following the light" and he said something about changes in reflex. Well I had fun passing his test.

A lot of it had to do with eyes. I should say that I have very white sclera, so when I am very stoned, my eye whites look pretty normal. Only rarely do I get those "eyes."
