Those un charge apparently believe putting one thug in prison is enough. Btw, Madoff wasn't one of the Wall Street criminals I was talking about. So far, not one Wall Street thug is behind bars.

By destroying peoples' jobs, retirements, insurance and spirits I'm sure they indirectly killed hundreds or thousands of Americans. Many people who lost their medical insurance probably lost their lives because of not having life saving medical care. How many suicides did they cause? Enron executives were recorded laughing at elderly people in California who couldn't afford to pay for the electricity they needed to run their air conditioning and died from the heat. Those Enron executives became wealthy by scheming to deliberately raise electric prices. As a result they killed vulnerable people and then laughed at it.

Some baseball players make a lot of money, too.

Even if I never touched a basketball in my life I could be a superstar NBA player making 50 million a year.

I think our world's values are screwed up when someone can bounce or hit a ball and get paid more in one year than what a teacher, fire fighter or nurse can make in hundreds of lifetimes. It would be nice to have a world where people were rewarded by what they contributed to society.

The thugs on Wall Street don't contribute anything of substance for their fellow man, but they make fortunes. In 2007 one Wall Strret thug made 5 BILLION in one year and another made a 'paltry' 3.5 billion. And they produced absolutely nothing for society.

A gunman enraged over how his wife cooked his eggs in rural eastern Kentucky shot five people dead with a shotgun before killing himself, a relative of two of the victims said.

Trooper Jody Sims of the Kentucky State Police said 47-year-old Stanley Neace killed five people in two mobile homes around 11:30 Saturday morning, then went to his home and turned the gun on himself.

Sims said that when state police arrived about an hour after the gunfire began, they heard a single gunshot and found Neace's body on the porch of his home in the mobile home park outside Jackson in Breathitt County. The county is home to about 16,000 people in the rugged eastern part of the state.

Sherri Anne Robinson, a relative of two of the victims, said witnesses to the shootings told her that Neace became enraged when his wife did not cook his breakfast to his liking.

May have no relation to economy. Domestic violence unfortunately is rife.

They go crazy over the little things that they can control to compensate for the big things that they can't control.
