New Congress will consider impeachment: The Browns
The Browns sound like a pair of typical teabaggers. The comments section offer some fine rebuttals.

The new Congress elected in November will surprise everyone. They will seriously consider impeaching Barack Obama.

Growing under the radar of the mainstream media is a movement that is gathering momentum.

7. They admit as much in the article
They think "high crimes and misdemeanors" means "because we don't like him", not serious offenses against the State. Really.

9. Well, they won't CALL it that.
People are always talking about impeaching the president for frivolous thinks like getting blow jobs, starting frivolous wars under false pretenses, undermining the Bill of Rights, or being born in Kenya... you know, silly stuff like that.

But seriously, I think impeaching Obama in 2011-12 is the biggest favor they could do for him--virtually ensures his reelection. If they were smart they'd wait until after the reelection and use the impeachment process to fuck with his second term agenda.

Just don't ask me where I get these ideas from. It's a secret.

12. They could ...
... according to the Browns -- if he let his 'blackness' influence his behavior.

The teabaggers and extreme right-wing are talking a lot about potential impeachment, but I have yet to hear any of them bring up a genuine impeachable offense.

Thinking that Obamacare is unconstitutional is not an impeachable offense. If the law were taken to court and it is found unconstitutional then it would not be implemented. End of story.

For people who blather on and on about the Constitution the Browns et al. seem eagerly ignorant of what it says.

3. these folks are seriously misinformed
"Ultimately it comes down to a commonly shared belief amongst Tea Party activists that Barack Obama is systematically trying to hurt America. Obama, the argument goes, is not an incompetent boob in over his head. Nor is he is not some well-meaning community organizer who has seen his plans go astray.

Barack Obama is a dishonest, manipulative liar who actually is pursuing an agenda that he hopes will take America off the international leadership stage. He wants America to fail so that the vision of Internationalist socialists can be realized. America is hated by the elite intellectuals of the world because we have been the single biggest roadblock to their plans to establish a one world governing system with them in charge.
<snip>
Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution reads: “The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”
The key phrase here is "high crimes and misdemeanors,” a concept in English Common Law that was well-known to our Founding Fathers but is grossly misunderstood in this day and age.

"High crimes and misdemeanors" essentially means bad behavior."

15. Actually when they sprout their crap about Obama they are just barrowing stuff the left said about
dim son, the difference is what the left was saying about dim son was true, they are just projecting what their side did back on the left. When the wing nuts start crap like this you know there is only 1 reason for it, they are waking up to the fact that their side might not win the election, remember when the right starts worrying about a lost election they go rabid.

16. Where were they?
Why, they were right there cheering them along and shouting down and smearing ANYBODY who was opposed to them and their agenda?
:eyes:

THAT is the #1 reason why I can't take any of them (or what they say) seriously.

13. Be sure to read their definition of "high crimes and misdemeanors"
They think it means "let's impeach him because we don't agree with the guy!"

They spend 6 paragraphs reveling in their ignorance of the Constitution. Scary, huh?

17. A list of his supposed impeachable offenses:
He violated the law and the provisions of the Constitution by seizing control of GM and Chrysler without proper authorization from Congress. Although his unlawful cronies in Congress granted him the authority after the fact, his action to seize corporations was a violation of the law at the time it was implemented.

His use of ACORN as a campaign vehicle is a violation of the law. It is clear to anybody with eyes and ears that this organization was an overtly pro-Obama entity, the goal of which was to do nothing but get out the vote for BO.

His consistent and blatant pandering to America's sworn enemies in the Muslim world is tantamount to treason. Can there be any doubt that Obama should at least be charged with the offense, given his penchant for going out of his way to offend our allies such as Israel, Britain, France, and Germany, while implementing policies that favor Hamas, Iran, Egypt, Syria, and other terrorist hotbeds?

He broke a law that he himself pushed and helped pass as a Senator that provides protections for Inspectors-General who do their jobs by investigating corruption, waste, and fraud in government programs. Yet when these government watchdogs get too close to the thuggery of Obama's friends, they get summarily fired for no good reason, such as Mr. Walpin.

And then there are those who believe that Barack Obama has no valid U.S. birth certificate. Increasingly many level-headed Americans are beginning to look closely, realizing that perhaps those who first broke this story are not kooks after all.

So there ya go! The horrendous, evil and earthshaking crimes of Barack Obama.

If we get majorities of Repubs in Congress I don't doubt that a lot of time and energy will be spent in trying to gin up an impeachment suit again.

Not a single legislator would touch this pontificating crap with a ten foot pole. This group of people are doing nothing more than standing in a circle and wanking off.

20. What a crock
"His use of ACORN as a campaign vehicle is a violation of the law. It is clear to anybody with eyes and ears that this organization was an overtly pro-Obama entity, the goal of which was to do nothing but get out the vote for BO."

Are these the same people who think their little MLM "get rich quick" scheme for their activists to badger others into donating money for their candidates is "legal"?
