Keith Reporting Democrats Will Cut and Run When It Comes To Tax Cuts
Apparently they don't think it's a good idea to have this fight before the elections. Because all our eyes must be lying to us when we see that 62% of americans support Obama's plan:

http://inthesetimes.com/working/entry/6470/seiu_polling_voters_favor_ending_tax_cuts_for_wealthy_--_while_dems_st/

My money is on the fact that they wait until after the elections and cave to the republicans by extending all the tax cuts, including the ones for the rich. Anyone want to take that bet?

I said this about the democrats two days ago when it came to their cowardice toward DADT. I got alot of flack for it. But I'll just go ahead and repeat myself:

I'm supposed to support these fucking assholes? All of this is starting to seem like it's all for show.

1. Thom Hartmann asserts that the system is so corrupted by corporate money that it doesn't work
Barring a major public outcry and movement, the Kabuki theatre will continue.

8. the thing is it seems to work for Republicans
I mean they used their control of congress to time votes to right before elections to energize their base and get reelected. They at least do Kabuki theatre right. Democrats on the other hand always seem afraid to vote for things they believe in, or more interesting things that might get people to vote for them. Heck there's not reason not to have the vote for middle class tax cuts right now. It polls unbelievably well for them.

They can always still vote and give the upper class their tax cut after the elections ;-) I guess I'm saying the broken system works even worse when your own representatives fail to even use the broken system in their favor to get reelected. The Dems appear to be actor that refuse to go on the stage.

2. You have your choice of assholes - Palin and her crew or the progressive crew
If you think we were better off with bush or at least as good then you are right to not support them

6. Can you really blame this on just the blue dogs?
Reid isn't a blue dog, yet he has control over alot of this. In the case of DADT he could decide to not remove that provision and let republicans filibuster military spending. In this case of the tax cuts he could force a vote before elections, yet he won't (according to Olbermann).

9. Yes. The only reason not to force votes on this is not being sure
it won't fall short.

In the House, there seem to be enough shaky BlueDogs and outright "Democratic" advocates of wasting $700 billion on the top 2 tax brackets for the Republicans to get a victory on a vote now, even before their likely gains in November.

In the Senate, Lieberman and company only need to turn a few of their colleagues to give the Rs an embarrassing majority of 51, which would force Reid to filibuster too.

Just weeks before a crucial election, many Democrats need campaign money badly enough to be bought on this issue, and there must be thousands of wealthy potential buyers bidding for their votes.

11. Prediction
The lower tax rates for the super wealthy will remain in place through 2013 as a "compromise".
The Senators are the employees, the Wall Street titans are the employers.
